Management Bios
Shuqi Chen, Ph.D., is President,
CEO, and Chairman of the Board. He is the founder of IQuum, and a former Harvard faculty member. IQuum's
intellectual property is based on his vision and innovative approach to biological sample
processing and testing that has been in development since 1994. Dr. Chen has a Ph.D. in Medicine,
an M.S. in Biophysics and a B.S. in Theoretical Physics. He has received many National awards from China
in recognition of his accomplishments. Among them are the National Outstanding Achievement for Technology
Development, 1988; Advanced Science and Technology Prize, 1986; National Great Achievement in Science and
Technology, 1984. Dr. Chen brings to IQuum a wide assortment of disciplines as well as industrial and management
experience. He has a proven record of overcoming many challenges using innovative means in both academia and
industry. Dr. Chen has successfully developed medical devices for commercialization during his twenty years in
blood research and medical device development.

Robert C. Caspar
serves as IQuum's Chief Financial Officer. He has over twenty years experience in the financial
management of high tech and manufacturing companies. He previously served as the CFO of Datel
Inc., a global manufacture of electronic components. Mr. Caspar started his career at the General
Electric Company, where he spent ten years in financial and managerial positions.

Keith Greenfield
is IQuum's co-founder, Board member, and Executive Vice President
of Corporate Development. Mr. Greenfield is the Founder and President of The Dover Group, a privately
held financial services firm in Wellesley, MA. He is also a cofounder of PreGreen Business Accelerator,
which provides business development services for high-tech and biotechnology start-up ventures. Mr.
Greenfield has helped found and serves on the board of several companies, including Biostream,
US Biosystems, A.T.P. Therapeutics, Zebra Pharmaceuticals, Sight Code, Inc. InstrisiQ Data Corporation,
and FoodSafe Solutions. Mr. Greenfield provides a depth of knowledge and experience in biotechnology
entrepreneurship, team building and fund raising that has been essential to the company's successful
launch.

Una S. Ryan, Ph.D.
is President and CEO of AVANT Immunotherapeutics. She is also Research Professor of
Medicine at the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute of Boston University School of Medicine.
Previously, Dr. Ryan held the position of Director of Health Sciences at Monsanto Company
from 1990 to 1993 and was Research Professor of Surgery, Medicine and Cell Biology at Washington
University School of Medicine from 1990 to 1993. Dr. Ryan currently serves on the boards of the
Biotechnology Industry Organization and the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.

David A. Taft
is the President of IBS Capital Corporation, an investment bank, which he founded in
1990. Mr. Taft manages the IBS Turnaround Fund, a private investment fund, which was
recently recognized by Barron's for outstanding performance. Prior to founding IBS Capital
Corporation, Mr. Taft spent ten years working in corporate finance with Drexel Burnham Lambert,
Winthrop Financial and Merrill Lynch.

Howard Goodman, Ph.D.,
is the Chief of Molecular Biology, Professor of Genetics, at Massachusetts General Hospital,
Harvard Medical School. Dr. Goodman is an expert in the field of molecular biology and genome
analysis, and currently serves the Chair of IQuum's Advisory Board.

Robert I. Handin, M.D.
is the Executive Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Co-Director of the Hematology
Division at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, as well as Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical
School. Dr. Handin is a leading expert in the field of platelet function and coagulation. His
laboratory has made major contributions to the study of platelet interactions with the vessel
wall and the role of the von Willebrand protein in mediating platelet adhesion. He is the editor
of a leading textbook of Hematology and President of the American Society of Hematology.

Byron D. Hewett, President and CEO at Immunicon Corporation, has over 20 years
of experience in the area of medical diagnostics and related fields. He has previously served as the Senior
Vice President and General Manager of QIAGEN North America, and the Vice President of Laboratory Testing at
Bayer Diagnostics, as well as in other key positions at Chiron and Abbott Diagnostics. Mr. Hewett received his
BS in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and a MBA from the Kellogg
Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dr. Bryant Moore,
Vice President of Product Development & Technology, New Therapies & Diagnostics at Medtronic,
was formerly Vice President of Research and Development at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics,
Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Moore has 20 years of experience in medical diagnostic product
development from conception to commercialization. He has been involved in the evaluation
of strategic alliances and all stages of product research and development.

Timothy A. Springer,
Ph.D. is the Latham Family Professor of Pathology in the Department of Pathology at Harvard Medical
School. Dr. Springer is a leading international scientist in adhesion molecule research and a member
of the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Springer founded LeukoSite, Inc., a publicly traded company
specializing in biotechnology and the discovery of new drugs, and was the Chairman of its Scientific
Advisory Board prior to its merger with Millennium Pharmaceuticals.

Salvatore A. Tiano
is senior Managing Director for Bear Stearns. Mr. Tiano was named one of the youngest Senior
Managing Directors in the history of the firm in 1994 at the age of 27. Prior to Bear Stearns,
Mr. Tiano worked at Drexel Burnham from 1988 to 1989, and at Smith Barney from 1989 to1990. He
has been managing money for individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations since 1989.
Mr. Tiano is currently licensed as a Registered Investment Advisor, and has made numerous speaking
engagements on investment strategy.

Robert Weinstein, M.D.
is Chief of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston and
Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. He was the president of the American
Society for Apheresis and serves on the Committee on Practice of the American Society for Hematology
and the Hemapheresis Committee of the American Association of Blood Banks. In addition, Dr. Weinstein
is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee of the American Red Cross Blood Services New England
Region and the Transfusion Medicine Committee of the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Jerrold Zindler,
was a founder and former President of Design Continuum, Inc., a highly successful engineering
and industrial design firm that has been consistently involved in the design and development
of biomedical devices. Mr. Zindler, as a Professional Engineer with an MIT background, has more
then 40 years of experience in the design and development of biomedical instrumentation.
