Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal
As part of the Engineering team, this individual will apply fundamental engineering skills to develop solutions to design requirements. Will conduct structural and thermal computational modeling and will assist others with analytical solutions and problem solving. Responsible for part and sub-assembly design release and will manage and execute design verification and compliance test activities.

Requirements:

B.S. or greater in Mechanical Engineering
7 or more years of product design engineering
Must have ability to develop, execute and analyze results of experiments; execute proof of principle as well as design verification
Experience in electro-mechanical, mechanism and/or motion control development
Thermal device and/or thermal management experience
Experience running computational analysis codes and executing development and qualification testing
Proficiency in 3D CAD, SolidWorks preferred

Systems Engineer
This position supports the rapid design, integration and debugging of systems and products based on the lab-in-a-tube platform. This individual will be responsible for system integration, making technical decisions and selecting design approach to support project requirements. Responsibilities also include developing product performance requirements and product operational sequences and generating related documentation.

Requirements:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field
Must have minimum of 8-10 years experience in systems design
Must have competence in systems design for medical instrumentation or device
Must have proven track record in managing system integration for successful product commercialization
Sound ability to document requirements and drive verification and validation.
Previous experience transitioning products from development to manufacturing is desirable

Software Engineer
Responsible for writing code, testing and debugging subroutines for system design and enhancements.

Requirements:

BS/MS in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus 3 or more years experience
Experience with real-time automation control and/or medical devices required
Proficiency in Windows CE.Net and/or 5.0
Proficiency in C or C++

Electrical Engineer – Board Designer
Performs highly technical electronic engineering on complex projects. Responsibilities focused on the design of analog, digital and hybrid electronic systems, devices, controls and circuits. Will also debug and generating product/release documentation.

Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering
Embedded systems design/architecture experience
Strong analog experience required along with some digital
FPGA skills preferred but not essential
Requires experience with high resolution temperature and motor control

Engineering Technician
Will work closely with the Engineering team to perform complex mechanical and electrical tasks in support of product development to manufacturing release. Responsibilities include some or all of the following: testing and troubleshooting electronic modules and sub assemblies, building prototypes, conducting engineering experiments and providing assembly feedback, recommendations and documentation.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing or engineering environment

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Serve as technical contributor in design for manufacturing, FMEA and related activities. Troubleshoot applicable production and engineering issues. Will work with external suppliers to develop high-volume production equipment. Performs product, process and equipment validations.

Requirements:

8 or more years of experience and proven project/people management skills

Demonstrated proficiency in assisting manufacturing transfers from product development to production

Manufacturing Engineer – Disposables
This is a hands-on position responsible for assisting in the transition of product from R&D to production. This person will develop optimized manufacturing processes for medium to high volume manufacturing of diagnostic disposables and related filling lines. Responsibilities include the design and execution of IQ, OQ, PQ qualifications, process development and optimization and process scaling. Will also work with external suppliers in the development of high-volume production equipment. Serves as a technical resource in design for manufacturing, FMEA and related activities.

Project Manager, Manufacturing Automation – Medical Disposables
As part of the R&D Engineering team, will assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing automation equipment for diagnostic disposables. Responsibilities include: development and evaluation of disposable manufacturing processes, development of process equipment requirements, managing contract house(s) in the design and execution of automation equipment for manufacture of high volume disposables. Must be knowledgeable in disposable design and material selection to insure process compatibility.

Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Must have process development experience which includes establishment of new process capability and development of process control criteria.
5 or more years working with medium to high volume plastic disposables manufacturing, preferable medical

Disposable Manufacturing Technician
This individual will be responsible for the daily preparation and processing of reagent solutions for manufacturing disposable tubes in accordance with manufacturing work instructions. Will work closely with Engineers and Scientists to assemble all disposable components to satisfy requirements. Will set-up and operate manufacturing and testing equipment and perform incoming quality inspections on raw materials while maintaining appropriate inventory of raw materials. We seek an individual who is interested in assuming a leadership role as the department grows.

Requirements:

Associates Degree or higher in Chemistry or Biology or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in formulations, preferably within an IVD regulated setting
Must have strong knowledge of standard lab techniques and good computer skills
Must be able to safely handle biohazard materials and hazardous chemicals
Familiarity with FDA, QSR/GMP, ISO and OSHA is desirable

Senior Scientist/Scientist
Responsible for developing molecular level in vitro diagnostic (IVD) assays for IQuum’s lab-in-a-tube technology platform. Will design and execute lab research studies to develop and maximize applications of novel biomedical detection devices. Responsibilities include managing programs and providing scientific guidance to team members. Requires hands-on experience in nucleic acid assay development and familiarity with real-time detection methods. Applications may include disease markers and pathogen detection; nucleic acid and protein detection as well as cellular assays, which require a BSL 2 or greater work environment.

Requirements:

PhD or MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field
Senior Scientist candidates must have minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, industry experience preferred.
Senior Scientist candidates must have previous experience in project or people management.
Scientist candidates must have minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, industry experience preferred.
Familiarity with state-of-the-art assay technologies, including nucleic acid extraction, nucleic acid amplification and detection techniques
Proven experience with multiplexed nucleic acid assay development and platform development strategies (clinical diagnostics market experience preferred)
Experience with protein separation techniques such as protein chromatography and affinity purification a plus.

Research Associate
Responsibilities will include research and development projects based on the innovative lab-in-a-tube technology platform. Research projects will be focused primarily on the development of molecular and cellular level diagnostic testing methods based on our proprietary closed system platform, including all steps of nucleic acid assay development from concept to formal assay validation. Work environment is BSL 1 & 2.

Requirements:

MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, industry experience preferred
Must have fundamental understanding of molecular and cellular biology methods and theory
Broad familiarity with state-of-the-art assay technologies, including nucleic acid extraction, nucleic acid amplification and protein and nucleic acid detection technologies; Must have experience with real time PCR analysis
Demonstrated ability to formulate innovative hypotheses and apply knowledge
Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills

Senior Manager of Business Development and Marketing
This “hands-on” position is responsible for developing and implementing product launch and marketing plans for the Liat™ product line which includes instrument and reagent products. Will conduct market analysis studies and track trends, create product introduction packages/product literature and interface with clinical trial sites and opinion leaders. Will coordinate and track status of customer order requirements, manufacturing schedules, technical services and sales. Responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, developing corporate identity in the marketplace and building commercial success.

Requirements:

B.S. in Life Science, Medicine & Business or Marketing, advanced degree a plus
Minimum 8 years in Product Management and/or Sales in the Medical Instrumentation/Device industry.
Must have understanding of in vitro diagnostic technology, customers and markets
Product launch experience highly desirable
Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals is essential
Must have good business acumen
